Exposed aggregate concrete is a decorative style of concrete paving where a retardant layer is applied to the surface when it is poured. After curing, the layer is removed leaving a lovely natural finish.
Aggregates, like pebbles and shells, as well as colour pigments are added to the concrete mix to achieve a wide variety of effects. In addition to the effective look, exposed aggregate concrete has a natural slip resistance.
Exposed aggregate concrete pavers are great for steep driveways, around the pool and high traffic areas.
